Cycle under the Midnight Sun: Between mid-May and the end of July, the sun does not set in Kirkenes. This guided e-fatbike tour takes you out of town and into the surrounding nature during the brightest weeks of the year. Instead of riding in darkness, you cycle in steady evening daylight, with scenic views across fjords, lakes, forests, and tundra landscapes. Experiencing the Midnight Sun in summer is the seasonal equivalent of witnessing the Northern Lights in winter, a defining Arctic phenomenon that makes this region unique.
The wide tires provide stability on uneven terrain, while the electric assist helps you climb hills and cover longer distances. Along the way, we share insights into the local nature, wildlife, and everyday life in the Arctic. We stop at scenic viewpoints for refreshments before returning to Kirkenes.
Suitable for guests with average fitness who are comfortable cycling for 2–3 hours on mixed terrain. Basic cycling skills required; electric assist helps with hills.
