Experience the Arctic night in comfort and style on this Northern Lights minivan tour. Starting from the center of Kirkenes, we drive out into the darkness — seeking open skies and snow-covered landscapes that give the best chance of seeing the Aurora.
Unlike bus tours, this is a small-group experience (max. 7 guests) using our quiet and eco-friendly Toyota ProAce Verso electric minivan. Your local guide monitors real-time weather and aurora forecasts to choose the best direction: maybe a frozen fjord, a hilltop viewpoint, or a lonely forest road with wide Arctic skies.
Along the way, we share stories about Northern Lights and Sami legends, and if the sky is clear, we stop for hot drinks and photos under the stars. Your guide will help you with camera settings or take photos for you. Even if the Aurora stays hidden, you’ll enjoy a peaceful night drive through one of Europe’s last wilderness regions.
This tour is ideal for couples, families, or anyone who prefers warmth, flexibility, and local insight over big bus crowds or long hikes.

These tours require minimal physical effort and are accessible to most people, including families with small children and older adults. Activities are usually short, with limited walking on flat or even surfaces, or involve sitting comfortably while being guided. No prior experience or special equipment is necessary.
No call centers, no chatbots — just a small, friendly team who actually lives here in Kirkenes.
We take the time to understand your needs, fitness level and interest for custom travel plans and a unique experience.
We’re an independent company run by travelers who made the Arctic their home. All tours are personal and shaped by our passion for the North.
