Summer in the Arctic is a time of contrast and colour: bright green forests, calm lakes reflecting the sky, open tundra, and a light that never truly fades. On this electric fat bike adventure, you experience it all at a relaxed, enjoyable pace.
We start in Kirkenes and ride straight into nature. The exact route is adapted to weather, trail conditions, and the group, but may lead through pine forests toward the Pasvik area, along fjord viewpoints, or on quiet backroads in the fascinating borderland of Norway, Finland, and Russia.
Thanks to electric assistance, hills feel easier and distances shorter, allowing you to focus on the scenery rather than the effort. Your local guide sets a comfortable pace and shares stories about Arctic nature, wildlife, and everyday life in Sør-Varanger.
During the tour, we stop at a scenic spot to enjoy hot drinks or cold refreshments.
From 15 May to 25 July 2026, this tour can also be run as a midnight sun e-fatbike tour — riding late into the evening while the sun stays above the horizon, bathing the landscape in soft, golden light. A truly unforgettable Arctic summer experience.
This tour is an ideal way to explore Kirkenes in summer: active, refreshing, and deeply connected to nature.
